2011/2012 IREVA ONLINE REGISTRATION -
ADULT PLAYERS & REFEREES
- New for 2011/12 - reduced adult membership fee [$15] for full-time college students. IREVA policy to qualify:
- any individual [full team not required];
- High School graduate;
- full-time [12 credit hr.]; with submission of enrollment verification document
THIS PAGE APPLIES TO ALL ADULT PLAYERS AND REFEREES, INCLUDING THOSE WHO ARE OR MAY BE ASSOCIATED WITH A JUNIORS CLUB OR JUNIORS ACTIVITIES.
All Players / Members
- Obtain instructions from your Club Director or Team Rep on their detailed procedures for handling tryouts, applications and registrations. (There are differences among the clubs, within IREVA’s requirements.)
- In the on-line membership application process, please provide or update all contact information, and select the club with whom you are registering. Club Selection notes:
- ALL ADULTS WHO ARE OR MAY BE ASSOCIATED WITH A JUNIORS CLUB OR JUNIOR ACTIVITY- PLEASE SELECT THE JUNIOR CLUB AND REQUEST THAT THE REGISTRAR “ASSOCIATE" YOU WITH THE ADULT CLUB, RATHER THAN VICE VERSA.
- A BACKGROUND SCREENING [GOOD FOR TWO YEARS; PAID BY IREVA] MUST BE CLEARED SO PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK THE APPROPRIATE BOXES AND PROVIDE THE NECESSARY INFORMATION ACCURATELY SO THAT THE BACKGROUND SCREENING AND JUNIOR CODE OF ETHICS FORMS ARE PROCESSED FOR YOU.
- Referees – please select “Referees” as your club.
- ALL IREVA REFEREES MUST CLEAR BACKGROUND SCREENINGS, SO PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK THE APPROPRIATE BOXES AND PROVIDE THE NECESSARY INFORMATION ACCURATELY SO THAT THE BACKGROUND SCREENING FORM IS PROCESSED FOR YOU.
- If undecided at the time of registering- please select “Undecided” as your club.
- the Club Director you decide to join under will send in your name with their registration list and you will be assigned to the correct club by the Registrar.
- Members who apply as "Undecided" must be assigned to a club to finalize their membership in a club and to be eligible to be placed on a team roster. A player can not participate in a tournament as "undecided” without a Club Director or Team Rep:
- attaching that player’s current membership card to the roster,
- writing that player’s name with a notation of the “Undecided” status needing to be updated to their club, and
- completing a Registration List with the accurate information about that player.
- One event registrations must be used for participation of non-members in any IREVA-sanctioned activities.
- One event registrations are not allowed for Junior Coaches, Officials, or any role requiring background screening clearance through USAV resources unless proof of a CURRENT USAV background screening can be shown.
- Upgrades are not allowed on site at an event and therefore, must be completed by submission of a paper application and the appropriate fee to the Registrar for processing before the event in order to be on a roster for participation as an upgraded member. If not, another one event registration must be completed and paid for on site with the club affiliation noted. Contact the Assistant Registrar with any questions.
- The Club Director or Team Rep should contact the Registrar for any questions or issues of a non-routine nature, e.g., out-of-region players, foreign players, etc.
